1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CtrlYard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CtrlYard is a cloud-based HOA community management platform that provides tools for announcements, events, polls, service requests, document management, amenity booking, and more.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@ctrlyard.com of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the Service
- Share account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Attempt to access data belonging to other communities
- Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate others
5. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid features are billed on a per-HOA monthly subscription basis via Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@ctrlyard.com within 30 days.
6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your community data. HOA administrators may request a data export by contacting us.
7. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CtrlYard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before filing any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@ctrlyard.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
